Owner/Head Trainer, Megan has been training dogs professionally for the past 6 years and has had great success with dogs of any age or breed. More importantly, she ensures that their humans are educated as well!
Megan has cared for dogs (any/all animals really) her entire life and has fostered and rescued dogs in South Texas for the past decade. She received an opportunity to transition into training as a full time career and hasn't looked back since!
She moved back to New England in 2021 and opened Happy Hounds Dog Training, which is based out of Waldo County, ME.

Trainer, Rayahna has been training dogs professionally for a 2 years! Her journey in the canine industry began long before that. She has had a passion for dogs since she was a child, and began working with dogs when she was just 10 years old. Her love for training began at the same time!
She has mastered the skill of effectively communicating with dogs of all ages. It is her goal to share those skills with others, developing a world where people and pups coexist in harmony instead of frustration.
She has 3 dogs of her own, fosters dogs often, and loves taking the pups on group adventures - especially hikes!

Solid Foundation

This program teaches 5 basic commands (come, sit, place, heel, and down) as well as general manners.
Designed for young pups or adult dogs who are home-bodies or aren't quite ready for big adventures yet!
If you need help with at-home behaviors but just can't find the time to train your dog, this package would be a great option!
We will provide you with a training "jump start" and teach YOU how to continue practicing at home.
Public Pups

- 14 days living with a trainer

This package includes the Solid Foundation curriculum as well as field trips and advanced skills! Your dog will master commands around heavy distractions, at distances, and have a solid off leash recall!
This is our most popular program because it gets your dog ready for ANY adventure you may take them on!
After your education session, all you have to do is enjoy your new and improved adventure buddy!
Achieving Tranquility
- 8 months and older
- 21 to 28 days with a trainer

Is your dog showing aggression towards people and/or other dogs? Maybe they struggle with resource guarding or have a bite history- if so, this package is for you!
We will form a bond with your dog during a meet & greet prior to their Board & Train. At training, we will build a foundation of obedience commands, teach your dog how to exercise a calm mindset, and give them the ability to remain calm while navigating the world without exploding!

George completed the advanced boarding training. Since his completion, we can walk anywhere without issues and George obeys his commands! We have taken him to the mall, to stores, and on walks at the park. He stays in heel and no longer barks at other dogs. Our first was our 6 month old Golden Retriever who was WILD when we dropped him off and 2 weeks later, Megan gave me a COMPLETELY different dog! His obedience floors people. Megan is amazing.
